– Filter #1 (PP5µ): Removes suspended solids, rust, mud, and floating objects larger than 5 microns in size from the water source, protecting and extending the lifespan of subsequent filters. Replacement time: every 3-6 months depending on the water source.
– Filter #2 (Granular activated carbon filter): Absorbs odors, organic substances, pesticides, heavy metals, residual chlorine in water, and oxidizing agents that damage the RO membrane. Replacement time: 6-9 months/once depending on the water source.
– Filter #3 (1 micron PP filter): Removes impurities and sediment larger than 1 micron in water (mud, sand), algae, and protects the RO membrane. Replacement time: 9-12 months/once depending on water source.
– Filter #4 (Kangaroo 50 GDP RO Membrane Made in Korea): This RO membrane uses a special material capable of removing solid substances, heavy metal ions, microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, and organic substances as small as 0.0001 micrometers at the molecular level. Replacement time: every 2-3 years depending on the water source.
